Stephen grew up the son of a Presbyterian Navy Chaplain and began studying scripture and music as a young boy. From his first piano lesson at age 9 to his most recent recording project, Stephen has always been passionate about sharpening his musical talents. As Stephen has grown in his faith and musical abilities, he has developed a rich appreciation of classic Christian hymns and authentic, meaningful music. Stephen has a history of professional leadership and enjoys fostering a collaborative environment amongst the deep bench of musical talent at Christ Church.

Stephen is married to Mary. They have twin 9-year-olds, Samuel and Ivy.
