Barbara Day Passing

Dear Christ Church Family,

 With a heavy heart, I write to share that Barb Day passed away this morning. After fighting cancer for over a decade, Barb died peacefully in hospice care with her family attending her needs. This is a tremendous loss for the Day family, and our entire community. Barb was a friend, confidant, and counselor to many. Her gentleness, wisdom, and spunk will be deeply missed.
 
Please join me in praying for Richard, along with their children (Lisa, Jonathan, Becky, and Lydia), as they grieve this loss.
 
In our grief, please also join me in giving thanks to God for the gift he shared with us in Barb. Through her sufferings, Barb cultivated a heart full of gratitude, patience, and hope, teaching us to trust our gracious heavenly Father in every season of life. Filled with faith, hope, and love, Barb lived a beautiful life that commended her Lord, Jesus Christ, to everyone. Let’s embrace Barb’s legacy and grieve her death with hope, knowing the God whose love that is stronger than death itself.
