Staff Transition
Dear Christ Church family,
It is with a heavy but grateful heart that we announce that Cynthia Patterson has decided to step away from her role as Women’s Ministry Coordinator. In the current season of life, Cynthia needs time away from work and ministry.
We are grateful for the ways Cynthia has served the women of our church. The Pattersons plan to remain active members of Christ Church, and Mark intends to remain on the Session. Please join us in giving thanks for Cynthia and ask the Lord to richly bless her and the Patterson family in the season ahead.
Our Women’s Ministry Council will continue to oversee the ministry and care for the women of our congregation. In the Lord’s good providence, our plans for this Saturday remain unchanged. We look forward to welcoming Paula Miles for our Women’s Daytreat on February 21. This year’s theme, Anchored Hope, will draw from Hebrews and remind us that our hope in Christ is “a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul” (Hebrews 6.19). We hope many of you will join us for this encouraging time together.
Thank you for loving and praying for one another as we walk through seasons of change as a church family.
Peace in Christ,
The Session of Christ Church Presbyterian
